Remarks FIREBALL - slow movement from south to north across western sky 10:54-10:55pm MST on 2/23/15 first sighted just beneath the moon (8º high and az 280º) and followed for about 60 seconds to az 315º where it went over the horizon. Orange trail with white stellar-like head; trail about 2º-3º long behind. Brightness 0 to -1 mag. First thought it to be a jet and contrail in the moonlight, but realized trail was self-luminous.
