Reports Report 599e (Event 599-2015)

Observer
Name Julie B
Experience Level 3/5
Remarks This fireball did not have a tail. It was a fuzzy orb in appearance just like a comet without a tail. It did not streak across the sky like a meteor but moved at 4 to 5 times the speed of a commercial aircraft at cruising altitude. It did have a descending arc of travel before disappearing. It did not change in magnitude of brightness. The night sky was clear, cloud free, and stars were visible.
