Reports Report 819e (Event 819-2015)

Observer
Name Anne G
Experience Level 4/5
Remarks I very recently submitted another report and am somewhat dumbfounded as to have seen another event in such close proximity. I'm casually observing just about every night but still find this remarkable. I normally am looking for ISS when possible and don't expect meteor activity on this level. I can only assume it's a fluke.

Persistent train
Observation Yes
Duration 2s
Length 40°
Remarks Glowing train as meteor broke apart. I felt as though this were more likely space trash than meteor. It broke apart into multiple, fractured individual parts each heading in the same direction as the largest particle out front. Seemed awully slow for a meteor also though I did begin a count upon sight and it was a non-rushed one - one thousand, two - one thousand, three - one thous....
Terminal flash
Observation Yes
Remarks More intense color as mentioned below in the terminal flash. The leading object flashed out first and brightly. The trailing objects milliseconds after.
Fragmentation
Observation Yes
Remarks Multiple fragmetation. There was a lot of traffic on the roadway that is in the direction of the object. I believe I heard crackling, but I won't swear to it. Bright, bright, blood red color - fragments as well. I was struck by how dark this red was.
