Remarks I was driving in my car on I-15 near 1500 S Woodscross (Bountiful) UT heading north. My whole family witnessed the event. At 10:59 - 11:00 PM we saw a very bright light through the windshield of the car. It appeard appox. 10 degrees off due north to the east. It fell nearly straight down going slightly to the east. The light was already at full brightness when it appeard at the top of the cars windshield so it is dificult to say where, when, or how high it first appeard, the details in the report describe everything we say through the windshield. The light was much bigger and brighter than Venus but not as the moon. It descended behind the moutains. It never diminished in brightness. It did not leave a trail. It did not fragment. It may have flicked slightly. It seemed to be very close to the viewer. I have seen many "shooting stars" and this did not look like a "shooting star". It was slow moving and was in the view of the windshield for approx. 2 - 3 seconds. It looked like it could have impacted.
