Reports Report 1271e (Event 1271-2015)

Observer
Name Durkee M
Experience Level 3/5
Remarks My gaze was directed below horizon. Only light source was nearly-full moon. Suddenly illumination more than doubled, and I looked up and spotted the fireball. There may have been a faint vapor trail, more toward its initiation then its termination, but it was nearly impossible to tell due to a few cirrus clouds in that part of the sky. Likewise, ocean's surf was so loud that it would have been difficult to hear anything.
