Remarks | I was sitting on my front porch when a bright flash coming through the tops of my neighbor's trees caught my attention. I could see the fireball intermittently through the foliage, and I got a good look at it when it passed through a gap in the trees above the street that runs straight away from my house. I lost sight of the fireball in dense tree foliage as it was starting to fade. My house is in the middle of town, so there is considerable light pollution that makes observation difficult. The time is approximate because I did not have a clock handy. |

Remarks | My view of the fireball was partially blocked by trees, and the street light in front of my house made it more difficult to see the train. It was a diffuse, glowing train similar to those that the brighter Leonid meteors leave. It faded from my sight quickly because of the street light. |
