Remarks I was with a friend going to observe the waves breaking at the shore on Lake Michigan at my summer home which is on the lake. The lake was very rough. I was looking east when the fireball appeared. It was very bright white at first and.was falling straight down. It was going much slower than shooting stars I have seen. The waves were breaking loudly at the shore so I don't know if there was any associated noise when it flashed out..Before it flashed out it turned green. Then there was a white green flash and it was gone.
