Remarks | This particular event was unique. Never saw anything quite like it. Although it only lasted mere seconds, and it was gone before it could really register in my brain as to what I was witnessing I will never forget this one. It was almost a perfect spherical shaped blue ball. |

Terminal flash | |
---|---|
Observation | Yes |
Remarks | We saw a bright blue fireball surrounded by an orange glow. The orange glow was mostly only apparent as it fizzled out |
Fragmentation | |
---|---|
Observation | Yes |
Remarks | There was about three smaller orange fragments trailing as it disappeared. Mostly it just seemed to be there, and then gone. No obvious signs of it "breaking up" or "burning up" in the atmosphere other than the few small orange fragments. It appeared as a bright blue light, and as it disappeared it had an orange glow around it. |
