Remarks I'm much more adept w/re the aeronautical than the astronomical ; sorry . (While executing a search so as to ID a star I serendipitously found your interest-piquing and very fine site . The Intensity of FB "brightness" was ~ = to 81mm mortar Mg ILLUM rd @ 2Km distant & 1k' AGL - very bright .) Thank You . WM

Remarks Initially a completely vertical hypervelosity white line descent (duration approx 1.0 seconds) , the "thread-like" trace very abruptly and progressively "blossomed" into a very bright flash (duration of flash between 1.5 and 2.0 seconds) without fragmentation .
