| Remarks | I had assumed it was lightning and thunder so I didn't get up to observe if there was an accompanying visual after effect. A friend who lives on Kupreanof Island, also adjacent to the Wrangell Narrows, had mentioned there was a meteor this morning, thus I believe this is the light and bang that awakened me. |

| Color | I awoke from sleeping as the windows on the southwest and west side of the house were completely flooded in white light--like searchlights. |

| Remarks | There was a distinct bang--I convinced myself it was a thunder and lightning event. We live below a steep mountainside and it sounded by large boulders and cobbles being moved around. We occasionally have landslides so that was what I equated it to--again, awakened by the light and sound and making a split second summary assessment. |

| Remarks | I assumed it was close by lightening and thunder so I didn't get up. I tried the one-one thousand count like in thunder and lightening but the light and thunder sequence was reversed, and the light and noise were close like right over the house. |
