It was a very bright neon green and had a streaking tail behind it. I was facing south and it came from west (my right) to easterly direction. I was on the phone in my car so that may be why I didn't hear anything. My friend also saw it at the same time but it was just on the periphery of her vision. She was in Fontana, which is 12 miles to the west of Redlands where I was located at that time.
