Flashed like lighting or a welding arc. I thought it was quite low in the sky but was surprised that the boom came so much later . I had never seen one that low nor for that duration. Never heard the boom before while observing showers. Really awesome!

a minute or two later I heard a boom like a cannon seeming to come from the general direction of where it would have hit. The sound ricochet off the mountains like thunder.
