I just thought to see if anyone had reported a meteor at that time and was relieved that they did! I believe I saw a small piece of it come through the trees in my back yard.

I saw an object come through the trees in my back yard, very bright trailing sparks, it seemed to hit a tree and veered off to the east before I believe it hit the ground close to my house.
