Remarks | I came to post this report upon attempting to research and find out what it was that I saw, as I am very certain it was abnormal. Ive seen many falling stars, and this was pronouncedly different. I was actually uneasy and shocked for a brief instant, and half expected an impact tremor to quickly follow the sighting. ( It didnt come, lol ) I would really like to be appraised of anything that comes from this sighting, as I think it was something outside the norm. I know of no better way to describe it than to say that it exactly replicated taking a wooden box match, and swiftly swiping the match against the igniting strip and continuing the motion of the arm while holding the match... an increasing glow, a flash, a burst of color, then a slow burn to the distance....( but MUCH, much faster ) each phase was distinctive and clearly visible. Ive never seen anything like it. It appeared so BIG, the flashpoint was as big as the moon appears when it is at its farthest during the daytime. ( I have no idea how to describe it, so I base the description on a reference point. About the size of a dime held at arms length, perhaps slightly smaller?) I hope this helps. Hope to hear something about it in the future. I feel privileged to have seen it. Buck Lynn 03Dec2010 |

Remarks | I was cresting an upward slope facing the opportune direction while maneuvering a vehicle... I was unable to focus my full attention on the remnant. I remember seeing what appeared to be a smoky contrast against the night sky, somewhat like you would see in a movie; it faded and disappeared as it approached the Horizon |

Remarks | Ihat got my attention was the identical appearance of a massive wooden match being lit, an instanteous increasing glow followed by a white, then much larger bright blue, what I can only describe as an \\\\\\\'entry burn\\\\\\\' it was shaped like it was encased around an object. The \\\\\\\'entry burn\\\\\\\' was the prominent feature, it lasted a long time compared to my viewing experiences of \\\\ |
