Remarks | I was driving towards the east and there was a cloud bank to the east. For a split second when the fireball came into view from the upper right of my windshield it was vivid bright green and quite large. But almost immediately it was behind the cloud bank. But the clouds must have been fairly thin, because I could see the fireball traveling down and to the left (northward) behind the clouds; so that the effect was blurry, or more glowing, or fuzzy. But it definitely still appeared as a bright green fireball. It lasted about 4-5 seconds. P.S. I saw one for the first time this past year and reported it also( I can't recall exactly when). The one I saw tonight seemed larger (maybe just the glow from the clouds) and seemed to be in view longer. So amazing! |
