| Remarks | Truly most remarkable fireball I have seen in lifetime. Very bright actually flame like appearance and full trailing tail of flame and burning debris dropping. Very prounounced tail total duration at least 5 solid seconds heading South to North, I had to update this since I am reporting 24 hours later, had to think about direction a bit. I was westbound on road in reported area. Object was quite low on horizon from experience first seen between 20 and 25 degrees above horizon starting around 250 or 260 degrees moving north and last seen same altitude ending around 310 or 320 degrees into house rooftops located about 350 yards ahead on small hilltop which was about 10-15 feet higher than road I was driving on.......due to hilltop the actual height above horizon might have been bit higher to account for the 15 foot high hill houses were on in front of me at the 350 yard distance. This hill where houses are is actually on small mountain with valley behind it where Westover Air base is located about 2-3 miles behind houses. |

| Remarks | The Fireball was first time I have ever seen a meteor actually burning on fire look. Bright orange trailing tail was steady orange and yellows predominantly orange and flame like with well defined head. I was facing west traveling in car at time and object was doing same. It was low in atmosphere and definetly burning up and debris had to be falling to earth |
