About Julian Parks

I first took up meteor observing in high school 54 years ago. I first became a member of the AMS and ALPO at that time. After many years, I renewed my interests in astronomy in 1997
and now belong to several astronomy organizations. Although I live in NYC, I have on occasion observed meteor showers and fireballs from the roof of my building. Hopefully, when I am
out of the city, especially, when I am out with my astronomy groups, I can report more about meteor showers and fireballs. I also have interests in bird watching, weather watching, general
nature watching, microscopes, telescopes, rock, mineral, fossil, and meterorite collecting. I am married and have one child a son.
