Reports Report 4261a (Event 4261-2015)

Observer
Name Julissa S
Experience Level 3/5
Remarks I made a lot of guesses as this was over a year ago. Additionally, It was so shocking and big that I became scared and turned around and ran in the other direction after I saw it disappear over the trees/lake, so I don't remember the end of the sighting very well and the memory was tainted with a bit of fear, The fact that I ran after it disappeared over the trees makes me think there was a sound, but I was already a bit scared being outside alone at night(I am a "scared-y-cat"), so the sight itself might have been enough to make me run away after I got over the initial shock, so I really am unsure. However, I was already observing the sky learning constellations, so I was already focusing on the sky in a dark area with good night vision, so the size and brightness might have been exaggerated by my memory and the ideal conditions I saw it in. I am also unsure about the time, as I had been out for a while and do not remember what time I went outside initially or how long I had been observing. From memory I was not quite sure of the brightness, but it was brighter then the surrounding stars so I guessed it was probably brighter then Vega.
