| Remarks | My experience was very different than other reports. There was absolutely no trajectory. There was no gradual appearance of site. I was slowing down towards a stop sign, and the thing just appeared about 300ft in the air and shot down at a complete 180 degree angle. It wasn't bright like a star, it was flaming and almost sparkling. It crashed in some guys back yard about 100-150 feet from me, nearly gave me a heart attack. I got out of my car and went to investigate to find nothing. If I had to guess, the object size would've been about the size of a ruler. It's almost like someone shot a green road flare out of a gun from the sky and aimed it directly at the ground. It was probably traveling at about double the speed at which an object falls. |
