Heard via Twitter that others saw it. It looked as though it would strike the Earth. I was preparing for a tidal wave on Lake Michigan ;) Very cool thing to see. Vivid green.

Long green streak followed the bright object, and persisted for 1-2 seconds. What a sight! Never seen one so bright or last for so long.
