Remarks So odd! Please e-mail back if anyone else saw anything. It it wasn\'t so near dark and I wasn\'t second guessing myself I would have gone out looking for remains.

Remarks I was working at my desk and glanced out my window. It was not dark yet, but this very bright object caught my eye. My window faces approximately northeast. The object was very bright, and I was so stunned at what I was seeing I only really remember that it seemed to have a trail before the large glowing \"head\" which was like a large sparkler for lack of a better explanation. It was not high in the sky at all and that is what surprised me, and the first think I thought of was fireworks or something like that, but that makes no sense, either. I live in Coal Creek Canyon. I would be very curious to know if there were any other sightings.
Terminal flash
Observation Yes
Remarks From your description perhaps it was a large flash, large sparkler. I was inside so heard no booms or other sounds.
Fragmentation
Observation No
