Reports Report 4412bk (Event 4412-2016)

Observer
Name Robert C
Experience Level 3/5
Remarks This is my Second Major Fire Ball experience, I thought the first one, was a once in a life time event. (the first was even more spectacular) Unfortunately I never recorded it. It happened back in, like, Feb. of 2005.Same property same general direction.(About 75 yards south) I was burning a brush pile, facing South. I saw, what I first thought, was a plane crash unfolding. It covered around 60 degrees, of the tree level horizon. That one was a orange smoky trail, that disappeared below the tree line. No fragmenting No boom, No news reports of a plane crash, or meteor sightings. But the image is burned into my mind.

Remarks The Flash/Explosion, was Bright, Orange/Red. Bell shaped. The Smaller End, about half the size of the Super Moon, the Larger End, about twice the size of the moon. The Edges of the bell shape, were pretty crisp. No lead in or exit trails or smoke. The event lasted about 2 seconds. But memorable for a life time. The Super Moon was in the picture at the same time. The bell shaped flash, was just below (about half way between the moon and the horizon) and to the Right/West, about 20 degrees. The Moon was bright, it had the field lit up, like dusk. The Fire Ball lit the field, about double, but orange/red. It was Awesome! I'm no artist, but I did make a rough image, of the shape of the flash, I saw. I don't see any way to add an attachment. If your Interested I can send it, if you give me a email address.
