Remarks (If confirmed) this is the 3rd such event I have witnessed. I witnessed the October 2012 Bay Area fragmented meteor as well as a lesser meteor on the east coast in 2015. Due to the initial bright, green color of the primary item associated with this event, i momentarily thought likened it to a firework being launched in the distance at a shallow angle. Its subsequent trajectory and dying out made it apparent this was in fact some meteor event. I had time to say "Look, Look, Look" in succession before it burned out of visibility. Object was traveling away from me. The sky was early dusk so it did not stand out as much as it would have at darkness, making it seem less bright than it actually may have been.
