| Remarks | I had no idea where to report it at the time. Then I saw what happened this morning and a link to report it. I posted on Twitter after it happened so I could remember the date. The exact time was +\- 5 minutes. I swear I thought it was right in top of our home. But (because it scared the turd out of me) I jumped back and did not get near the window because I thought a boom may cause the window to explode. It seriously looked like a ball of fire the size of the moon (not actual but how it looks in the sky here) going across the sky. Never in my life have I seen such. I think about it a lot because I just don't know why there was no boom with it appearing so close, and heard nothing about anyone else seeing it. It start from the North and went South. One time I saw a bright orange object about half the size of the moon just staying in place in the NW sky I thought it was a helicopter, at first, because of the noise, and then it was just disappeared and no more noise. That lasted a few minutes. I've seen helicopters around here at night, but not like that thing. |

| Remarks | I thought I heard a car with loud pipes coming down the road. When I peeked out the window, I jumped back because I thought it was coming straight at me. I kept waiting for a boom, but never heard it. |

| Observation | Yes |
| Remarks | It just was very bright, like it was right above our power lines. The flash wasn't so much like a boom but like a candle glowing bright real quick. It happened so fast. |
