Brightest and coolest meteoroid I've ever witnessed. I was looking SW shooting a photo of stars when it first appeared. Caught my attention right away. Due to the (away from me and headed almost straight down towards the horizon) it appeared to be going rather slow. I was able to point the camera in the proper direction but didn't have time to use the viewfinder and so missed it altogether though I did get the train in 3 shots.

Remarks
As I was looking at the fireball as it traveled, it was positioned such that I could see it through the train. The train was smokey in appearance and orangish while the fireball itself was faint yellow. Once the fireball burned out I could see the train and it appeared to me to be smoke. I was able to get 3 photos of it if interested.
