| Remarks | It was virtually vertical tilted slightly to the right, with the fragments at the bottom (unusually not at the top) wide & cylindrical in shape, indicating it was large or I was close. I was traveling west and it was due north of me when I stopped and looked at it. I braced for impact but it disintegrated before reaching the tree line. I have seen a white meteor with the trail almost horizontal in its direction yrs back, but this was new and nothing like I had seen before. |
