Remarks I would really like to know what it was and why it was green? and why it was in the sky for so long because most shooting stars or comets that i have seen in the past are usually gone in a blink of an eye and not going across the whole sky?

Remarks Glowing train almost looked like it was crackling, I kind of left tracers in the sky!

Remarks I had enough time to see it tell my wife look back up and watch the comet go across the western sky, It was really bright green with a long train that seamed to be popping like a firework stream. It had to be the coolest and longest comet that i have ever seen!!! It lasted between 5 and 10 seconds
