Reports Report 650a (Event 650-2017)

Observer
Name Matthew C
Experience Level 1/5
Remarks I saw this in dawn daylight driving south on highway 51 above the horizon line and off to the left of my windshield. Not directly in front of me. It was incredible. After searching "blue meteorite" on google, I knew immediately it was a blue fireball based on the pictures that came up. One of the coolest things I have seen. It seems like I did see some kind of "pop" but it is hard to say because it all happened so fast and I was driving. I do know the tail was light and not smoke and that it was a different type of light. I immediately knew it was something unusual as I had never seen light like that.
