Reports Report 1110a (Event 1110-2017)

Observer
Name John A
Experience Level 3/5
Remarks The initial fireball was a quick but brilliant flash that appeared to me to be just over the Catalina Mountains. As it continued to "fall", its color changed from a brilliant and bright light blue to a brilliantly bright green and appeared to slightly "pulse" just before fragmentation and turned quite literally into several glowing orange fragments, along the same overall trajectory, however, each fragment fell at slightly different trajectories (each toward the ground), before the light completely disappeared, which seemed, from my vantage point, to be towards the White Mountains. I feel it significant to point out that my view was never blocked by any terrestrial object, the fireball simply appeared to "go out" instead. I have/had a completely unimpeaded view of the event from when I first noticed it to when it's energy simply seemed to cease.

Terminal flash
Observation Yes
Remarks Somewhat of a quick "pulse" when the color appeared to change from a lighter blue to a lighter green color; immediately followed by a definite orange "shower" as it fragmented while continuing to follow the same trajectory (although it appeared to slow somewhat during termination).
Fragmentation
Observation Yes
Remarks Turned from light green to orange, a bit like an actual ball of fire, and appeared to slow, just a bit, as it fragmented into several (approximately 6 or 7) pieces with each following the same general trajectory however each fragment definitely arced towards the earth separately after initial fragmentation.
