looked to be falling rather near vertical as opposed to horizontally across the sky it was intermittent on and off but there is quite heavy cloud above

it was a bright white flash which went on and off twice whilst dropping and was trailing which looked like vapour trail and then fragmentation and then just above the horizon betwen the power station chimneys viewed from my location it got brighter and then just faded to nothing
