Reports Report 551a (Event 551-2011)

Observer
Name Andrew B
Experience Level 2/5
Remarks I know it was Memorial Day, and traveling thru several small patriotic towns, I first thought it was fireworks. but no other flashes prior or after were seen. The altitude also seemed a little off too. Higher in the night sky than normal. It also being almost completely dark, judging distance was hard. I also had a passenger in the vehicle, who at the time was looking out the side window, we both turned our heads at the same time to witness the event. Trying to come to a conclusion of what we has seen, a meteor was the only thing we could both agree on. No alcohol or drugs were used prior to the event.
