| Remarks | My wife and I were sitting on the bluff of Hayners creek in Halcyon Bluff in our back yard, enjoying the perfect evening. C130's, Blackhawk helicopters, and a p3 orion were all practicing touch and go's at Hunter AAF. The meteor entered west and traveled east. I was stunned at how long it took to cover our view. it had a large coma more comet like and the tail was straight , no corkscrewing and was long and bright. Truly amazing! I posted about it on facebook, Wish I had a picture or video! |
