Reports Report 1337oy (Event 1337-2017)

Observer
Name M P
Experience Level 4/5
Remarks Someone told me that reports said it was only asteroid that near miss the earth, I think this is completely false. I watched it fall, and it was clearly in earth atmosphere. The only video available I have seen on news about this shows fireball so far away compared to my sighting, the fireball was massive huge, and it was so big and very close, long tail, inside earth atmosphere, it is in area very well below where airplane normally flies. IT almost look like it's airplane crashing, but I knew it was fireball going toward Atlantic ocean over South Carolina. I live in Unicoi County and looking toward south. Fireball going from west to east, toward Atlantic Ocean. I am certain it hits Atlantic Ocean, regardless size of it. The only fireball streak in the sky I can find on Youtube that exactly resemblance this fireball that I have seen looks like is this: Feb 15 2013 Meteor, and we all know how massive that one was. I wish I videotaped it myself, but my phone such a terrible phone froze up on me at that moment, it was not responding, didn't even respond when I TRIED to text my family about it. Had to reboot it several times. :( But regardless, remarkable sighting.
