Reports Report 1298tw (Event 1298-2017)

Observer
Name Debra P
Experience Level 3/5
Remarks The light was intensely bright white, almost like what you'd picture a UFO light must be like. Much too bright to be a Sheriff's or Police Helicopter. I went out into my deck to see if there was anything out there-but there was nothing to see. It shined to the South (towards Tijuana, Mexico, B.C.) , right on the Northwest corner of my neighbor's roof as I looked up from watching the TV. We have a big sliding glass door there and the brightness of the light made me look up quickly. From where I was seated I could see the light flash from the Southeastern part of San Diego County towards the Southwest part of San Diego County. I have seen Halley's Comet (through a telescope) up in our local mountains several years back and a few meteor showers up in the same location. I am no expert by any means! I hope this may help you in some way.
