Remarks | I was riding my bicycle on an early morning cross-training ride, and happened to be looking directly at the event field of view. The total event seemed to last nearly eight to ten seconds. When I first noticed the meteor, I expected that it would disappear within a second or two, as is typical. After a couple of seconds I realized that this was different, and began counting. I counted to eight before the element disappeared behind some trees. I estimate that the entire event lasted ten to eleven seconds. |
