Remarks | This object was to my eye as big as a football and seemed very close. I actually thought it was going to hit the roof of the house opposite but it disappeared behind it with no sound. I watched the sky for a while but saw nothing else. It was a dry windy night with no cloud cover. I reported it to the local newspaper but they did not publish it, no one else came forward as to having seen it although two nights later there was a smaller object seen over the town , more like a large shooting star. |

Remarks | Huge rumbling like thunder caused me open the door and let my dog in. I looked up at a crystal clear sky and was amazed to see the object. By now there was no sound. |
