Remarks | During the time I observed the meteorite-about 2-3 seconds, from my perspective, it seemed to track almost horizontal to the ground and I was struck by how slowly it appeared to be moving while, seemingly, remaining on that almost horizontal course. |

Remarks | Right after I first saw it, it was bright green with a orangish-yellow tail. A much smaller piece, same color as the larger piece split off and instantly disappeared (no sparks, nothing). The main body continued on from west to east and then also "disappeared" (stopped burning) but was followed by a short tail of red sparks for a very short distance and then the sparks also disappeared.. |
