I have never seen anything like it. My husband was driving, I was on passenger side and looked out over the river on my right and saw what clearly looked like a comet low on the horizon with a bright tail. The only thing I'm confused about is whether I saw it on Tuesday 5/16 or Thursday 5/18. we drive to our gym for a 6:00 a.m. work out every Tuesday and Thursday and by the time I thought to make this report it is almost a week later. Pretty sure it was Tuesday 5/16 though.
