It was bright enough - but small - to catch my vision while I was driving. It was very strange. No sound. No turning like a plane. No blinking lights. Just orange flame?

Remarks
I saw a small very bright ORANGE glow in the sky while driving home. I pulled over and told my mom to look at the orange light. She said to pull into the next street and park. I did. We got out of the car and looked up at the slow moving orange glowing light. No sound at all. I thought it might be a plane on fire. No sound at all. No whooshing. Slowly moving west. No blinking lights. Then I thought it could be the shuttle - but over northwest Indiana heading west???? Very strange. Just an orange fire ball moving straight in a line, but it did NOT appear to streak or arc across the sky similar to a star. Then it just became dimmer and dimmer the farther west over the homes it went.
