Remarks | I'm a striped bass surf fisherman so I spend a large amount of time on the beach on the darkest nights so have probably seen more of these events than your average person. This was one of the brightest, largest, and lowest ones I've ever seen. When it dropped below the treeline (my neighborhood has a lot of trees) it scared me, part of me thought that this one could be it !! Looked, listened, and felt the ground for impact but there was nothing (thank God!) |
