Remarks | I was on the 13th floor of my building when I saw it outside the window. It looked like it fell over/into Morningside Park or Columbia University. However, Morningside Park is at the bottom of a hill from the Columbia University area. The first floor of my building is approximately on the same street level as Morningside Park, but I viewed the fireball from 13 floors up. |

Terminal flash | |
---|---|
Observation | No |
Remarks | I saw a green fireball falling with a green tail. All of a sudden, it flashed and then a slightly smaller brownish ball of light showed up, following the green ball of light very closely (not touching but following right after the green ball of light). It wasn\'t a terminal flash, because the green fireball continued falling after the flash ended, in addition to the appearance of a new brownish fireball. |
