| Remarks | This was unlike anything I have ever seen. Witnessed it by happenstance rolling up the garden hose in my driveway. It was very bright in the evening sky with vibrant colors: green-blue head with a red-orange-yellow tail. Seemed extremely low because of how large it appeared in the sky - fingers about three inches apart at arms-length from head to tail. The thing did not appear to be moving very fast either. Slowly transited across a huge portion of the sky for 5-8 seconds, after which time it seemed to vanish. There was no breaking up or burning out. Just blinked out of existence. There was no sound the entire time. No smoke trail either. I remember the sound distinctly because I kept thinking there would be something audible to accompany something that large, but it never happened. |
