Reports Report 2449rs (Event 2449-2017)

Observer
Name JP O
Experience Level 3/5
Remarks It first looked like a star flashed bright straight up slightly to the southeast then grew a short white tail with sparks and appeared to be heading straight at us. The color changed to vivid blue green as it traveled northwest overhead. It appeared to land to the northwest in the mountains. We lost sight of it as it went behind a ridge. Largest fireball I have seen. It surprised me that there was no sound.
