Reports Report 2449abl (Event 2449-2017)

Observer
Name Kate M
Experience Level 1/5
Remarks I was at my son's cubscout camp getting ready for star gazing and what I thought was a flare from the neighboring Boy Scout camp appeared over our heads and raced over us and the fizzled out like a firework with orange sparks. It was intensely bright white and small and below the tree line probably about 50 ft in the air before it fizzled. No sound happened. I didn't know it was a fireball til the next day
