Remarks I heard a small thump-thump maybe one half second apart, but the tv was on and the windows and doors were closed.

Remarks I was watching tv...I have an unobstructed view across the water and was looking in that direction when I thought somebody turned on the spotlight on my dock. I jumped up to see what it was (the whole area was alight) and saw the fireball gowing from as close to zenith as my location would allow to what looked like a possible impact...it was breaking up...it was not a micro object.
