| Remarks | I have never witnessed a shooting star event this bright or lingering before. Color was bright yellow/green with a green flash at the front for a moment before going behind trees. Timing is a bit uncertain, confident it occurred between 9:40-10:05 pm ET. Did not discover I could report it here until 10:35, so did not occur to me to mark the time of sighting when it happened. Next time I will! Otherwise I validated my details with the two others who saw it with me. |
