Reports Report 2881h (Event 2881-2017)

Observer
Name Duane J
Experience Level 4/5
Remarks I was returning from the great eclipse heading home. The fireball passed over my car as I was heading north on 35E. I only saw the path from mid point to the termination. It was bright enough to illuminate the interior of the car. Much brighter than the moon would. It moved much faster when overhead and clearly much slower when it terminated, so i would say it was closer to me when overhead and went away to the NE quite a distance. I did not see midpoint flashes nor a terminal flash.
