Concurrent Sound

Remarks -
Delayed Sound
Observation Yes
Remarks A friend of mine said he heard a hissing sound as it went across the sky. It was so bright I don\'t know if I heard a hissing or not, I was too consumed by the sight. But the booming that followed I remember well. I would say it came from 15 to 30 seconds after the fireball disappeared. The rumbling lasted about 5 seconds.
Persistent train
Observation Yes
Duration -1s
Length -1°
Remarks The \"train\" or smoke trail stayed in the sky for at least 5 minutes after the fireball disappeared. Maybe more. It looked like a white rainbow, a perfect arch that appeared to stretch from southeast to northwest. I couldn\'t see where the fireball \"landed\" because of a group of trees that were in way of my line of sight to the western horizon. But the most peculiar part of the whole experience was the rumbling noise that followed the fireball about 15-30 seconds after it disappeared. Kind of a cross between thunder, a sonic boom, and a train rumbling over the tracks. There was little to no wind, and the sound was coming south to a little southeast of where I was standing.
Terminal flash
Observation Unknown
Remarks It looked like a roman candle on steroids. I remember seeing some reds and greens but the center was a white hot looking mass. I couldn\'t see where it met with the western skyline because of a shelterbelt of trees, but as most observers would probably agree, it looked like it landed over the hill.
Fragmentation
Observation Unknown
