Observer
Name dick T
Experience Level 3/5
Remarks The most impressive meteor I have ever seen. I stayed up until 3:30am viewing and saw 12 more meteors, 4 of them fire balls but the one reported was by far the most impressive because it appeared so low and close.

Remarks We were focused on the bright fireball, as it burned out there was a trail of glowing embers. It appeared at the South end of Hood canal and looked as if it was traveling right up the canal at low altitude. Don't remember a smoke trail but glowing embers as it burned out north of Lilliwaup. It appeared to be traveling subsonic.
