I had a very clear view of the sky as my house sits high and is surrounded by windows. I was sitting on my porch. I THOUGHT it was a power outage as the light was incredible and went from one side of my house to the other. I could see the entire front yard with the brightness. IT felt very close. My cats took off just as the light started and hid under the bed. I knew there was something strange when the porch door and porch started to shake and then there was an incredible loud boom that went on for a few seconds. I looked online to see if there had been any earthquakes as i could not figure out what was happening.
